About Jigu

Jigu Japanese (叽咕日语) is a Japanese learning app developed by Gentleflow. No app account is required. Contact support@gentleflow.tech with privacy questions.

Learning data and permissions

Your learning profile, lesson progress, review schedule, streaks and preferences are stored in the app's private storage on your device. Lesson audio and illustrations are bundled with the app. The app does not upload voice recordings or require microphone access. Optional study reminders use local notifications with your permission.

Purchases

Apple processes payments. We do not receive your Apple account password or payment card details. RevenueCat verifies purchases, restores purchases and manages membership access on our behalf. It receives an app-user identifier, transaction and subscription information, and related device, system and storefront information needed for those services. See RevenueCat's Privacy Policy and Apple's Privacy Policy. This information may be processed outside your country.

Advertising and diagnostics

Jigu does not use advertising identifiers, show ads or track your activity across other apps and websites. Apple may provide crash and performance information according to your device's sharing settings. If you contact support, we receive the information you choose to send, including app and system version details included in the feedback email.

Retention and your choices

You can reset learning data in the app or delete the app to remove local app data. You can turn off notifications in iOS Settings. Deleting the app does not cancel a subscription; manage subscriptions in your Apple account settings. Apple and RevenueCat retain purchase records under their policies and applicable requirements. Contact us to request access, correction or deletion of information we control; some records may need to be retained for transaction, fraud-prevention or legal purposes.

Children and updates

We do not ask learners for personal contact information. A parent or guardian should supervise purchases by children. Please contact us if a child has provided personal information through support. We may update this policy and will show the effective date on this page.
